These two gorgeous people have quite a history together! They were childhood pen pals and didn’t even know it (Melissa recently found a letter from Ryan)! It wasn’t until high school that Melissa + Ryan started dating and have spent much of their relationship via long distance ever since. Thanks to great communication (pen pal revival :)) and many frequent flyer miles (they gave me pointers on this :)), their relationship has stood the test of time and distance. Ryan has had two deployments in Iraq in the past several years. While Melissa showed great support for her man, Ryan demonstrated his heroics for our country – earning a purple heart and bronze star for being wounded in action. I can’t tell you how amazing these two are!!! It was nice to get them together for our recent engagement session and hear that they will finally be in the same place as husband & wife this fall! I can’t tell you how unbelievably excited I am for their wedding at the stunning Vibiana at the end of May! These two deserve such a grand celebration for all that they have been through!
