“…baby one more time”

Meet my old college roomie! Yes we go waaaay back to the UCLA days and although we don’t share a tiny room (no we didn’t have bed bunks but if Joann’s twin bed wasn’t a loft, I bet I could have reached out an touched her) anymore, we still kept in touch a lil’ thing called facebook :). When Joann (Jobay :)) contacted me to take 30th birthday pictures of her (I think birthday pictures are the best!), I felt happy just to get to see her again and relive some of those wonderful college memories. I mean who else could teach me Britney Spears dance moves, withstand staring at my very purple sheets and Pooh Bears everyday and of course solidify my true love for *NSync?! Joann was a fun, hilarious roommate and she has turned into quite the fun, hilarious, successful and beautiful woman. It’s amazing how 12 years have flown by and I was reminded of you how meaningful it is to have such special people in your life. Thank you Joann for being so meaningful to my college experience and here’s to joining the 30 club with me! And special thanks to Joann’s friend, Adeste for helping out and providing comic relief during our shoot and lunch :).


Honestly I was a lil’ nervous because when you shoot someone you know so well, you have the tendency to just laugh – the.whole.time. And we did that but Joann also proved to be quite the model.
